A crowd of 7,022 contributed to last year's record Florida Cup Day. Graded stakes winner Go Between, out of the barn of Hall of Fame trainer William Mott, added $51,000 to his more than $900,000 in career earnings with a 1 ½ -length win in the featured $85,000 Cherokee River Stable Turf Classic, covering the firm course in 1:48.06 for a new stakes record.
