Skyway Festival Day is a celebration of the Tampa Bay area, capped off with the $75,000 Pasco Stakes for three-year-old colts and geldings at seven furlongs; and the $75,000 Gasparilla Stakes for three-year-old fillies.  Both races will be run over the main track at seven-eighths of a mile on January 16, 2010.  Skyway Festival Day serves as a prep for February 13th's Festival Preview Day , and is the second Festival Day of Racing in the succession of races leading to Festival Day on March 13, 2010.
