Arthur Appleton has had significant success with his Bridlewood Farm, located in Ocala, FL. There, he raises his horses and stands several stallions, including Skip Trial, sire of 1997 Breeders Cup Classic winner Skip Away. His other stallions include Frosty the Snowman, Halo’s Image, Hazaam, Hunting Hard, Jules, Put It Back, Top Account, Vicksburg, Wild Event, and Stormy Atlantic. Appleton has bred over 80 stakes winners and his homebreds have earned in excess of $50 million. Arthur Appleton inherited a commitment to his family’s business, Appleton Electric, which he guided for thirty years. A talented inventor, Appleton has more than 160 U.S. patents in the electronics field. Appleton also built the Appleton Museum of Art in Ocala, FL.
